 I am so excited you’re here! I have a whole bunch of ideas for my prompts, but of course if you have your own plan, you are absolutely free to ignore me and go hog-wild on your own! I’ll try to make this short, as I know time is of the essence, so let’s get into it!

Fandom: Rick - Ricky Montgomery (Album)

Why I like it: This album has such a melancholy, nostalgic feel to it. It feels like someone trying to recreate their childhood, where everything was simpler and a little less chaotic, but who still can’t figure out how to get that spark back, because they know the nostalgia will have to end eventually. I love the whole album, and it’s a delight. My two favorite tracks are Don’t Say That and Type A, should you choose to rely on those for any of the prompts!

Prompts!:

1: Worldbuilding: There are so many options you could go with this option! I want to see more of the world Ricky created, maybe something that happens in Truth or Dare which got scrapped, or else whoever he’s talking to in Don’t Say That which set him off? How does everything play out throughout the album, in the way one song bleeds into another? What caused that specific order to come about? What is the melancholy about, to you?

1: Ricky Montgomery: Ah, yes, the titular character of the album! I want to see anyone’s take on the album and how Ricky plays a role in it. Why he wrote it, if you want to get meta, or just who he is in relation to the songs and narrative! I love the little interludes with his mother, and you could absolutely tie those in here if you wanted, just to see an extra level of depth into his character—however you see his persona! Feel free to make him sad and pathetic, or just a little reminiscent of the past. Either way, I would not be disappointed!

Ricky Montgomery & Girl Who is Type A: Ah, yes, Type A is a fantastic song and I love the way Ricky and this girl bounce off of each other! Whether you give her a name or just the titular Type A personality, I want to see what would propel this song forward. Why was Ricky’s gender broken? What made them call their fathers sociopaths? There’s so much left unsaid in this song, and I’d love to see how, exactly, these two would get along, and the ways in which they don’t, as well!

Fandom: Original Work

Why I like it: Worldbuilding, and getting to know the characters in a story, getting to care about these people who could be part of a world you had never thought of before. Enough said.

Prompts!:

1: Vampire Who Was Turned in the 1990s (Any): Listen. This entire concept reads like a Tumblr shitpost, because that’s where I got the idea. Everyone likes to make vampires old and mysterious, yet young-looking, but there’s so much potential for someone to discover this individual is a vampire, ask them about all this ancient stuff, and them to respond: “I went to high school in 1985, I know nothing more about these classes than you do.” But also, a vampire who prefers VCRs and videotapes to DVDs or streaming, one who adores Tamagotchi and the whole 90s aesthetic is hilarious. Or even make them a savvy influencer on Instagram or TikTok, have the fans theorize about why it looks like they haven’t aged a day in video, and how do they manage to get great shots without getting themselves caught in the mirror? (Unless of course you go the old mirrors were made of silver and new mirrors aren’t so they can see themselves route!)

1: Eldritch Angel: I did not prompt this one, but the idea won’t leave my head. Why/how is the angel eldritch? What world/dimension do they come from, and how does their system work? Do they walk amongst humans in disguise, are they part of some bureaucratic system for deciding who goes to what afterlife, or Heaven/Hell, or whatever? And the religious symbolism and implications here are just delicious. I want to see whatever you’ve got, this would be fascinating to read!

High/Urban Fantasy Apothecary & Trans Characters Apothecary Helps Transition: Trans characters being their authentic selves! How does the whole paperwork thing go in Urban Fantasy? How do they get the ingredients to transition in high fantasy? Is the change magical and instant, magical and slow, or is it just HRT with a couple extra steps to make everything look a little more authentic? How do the trans characters react to seeing their authentic selves? Is the apothecary trans as well? So many possibilities, all of them amazing!

Cis Man With Pet Play Kink/Trans Man Catboy: This is just a smut prompt. I can’t think of much else by way of prompts, just. Look at my smut likes and look at Pet Play tropes and if you like either of those absolutely write this!

Fandom: The Super Mario Bros Movie (2023)

Why I like it: It’s campy and full of references and all in all is just a really fun romp of the possibilities that could happen when Mario and Luigi are first introduced to the Mushroom Kingdom. It’s great!

Prompts!:

1: Bowser: This goober is hilarious and I personally believe that Jack Black was the best choice for Bowser for this movie. I love the way that he showed his obsession with Peach, but also? The way he was so sincere and acting almost like a high school boy who had no idea how to interact with his crush who’s the most popular cheerleader on the team? The way he was just. So earnest about being a villain was awesome. I would love to see more of his character explored, with his underlings or with his obsession with Peach, or what he was like as a child, even, just figuring things out. For a little bit of an out-of-the-box idea: Does Bowser keep a diary/journal, and what does he put in it?

Bowser/Luigi: We deserved more homoerotic content! I love mild twink Luigi with massive bear that is Bowser, and the two of them together is just…yes, please! Whether you write canon-compliant with a more intense interrogation from Bowser, or Luigi talking to Bowser once he’s trapped in a cage in the Mushroom Kingdom, or an AU where Luigi joins the darkside, works side-by-side with Bowser, I’d love to see what they have together! If you want to go dark, Luigi stuck in a cage above magma forced to entertain Bowser or else be dropped…that would be so fun, too.

Bowser/Peach: What if the bad guy won? What if Peach was more interested in Bowser than Mario and together they tried to take over the world? I’m so interested to see what they could be together, and what you like to see in their relationship if they were destined to be instead of her and Mario.

Mario/Luigi: I love me some codependency, and these boys are so, so codependent. The way they just need each other, and how Mario would go to the ends of the Earth for Luigi, I can see them being so messy and so obsessed with each other and I love the whole needy brothers who cannot get over each other enough to even consider other people. Give me curtainfic to dubcon, I’m so obsessed.

Fandom: The Two Princes Season One

Why I like it: It’s a self-contained, star-crossed lovers story where they overcome fate, they’re gay, and marketed towards kids! I love gay love stories, throw in fantasy and dragons and I’m sold!

Prompts!:

Amir & Atossa or Rupert & Lavinia: I want to know about the boys and their relationship with their mothers! Pre-series or what you view happening after Season One, regardless of the later seasons, because Atossa and Lavinia only appear in Season One, I want to see how they feel about their boys being gay/bi/some flavor of queer.

Amir & Lavinia or Rupert & Atossa: The in-law drama! I want to see all of it! Lavinia’s disappointment at Rupert’s lack of enthusiasm for parties and Amir getting protective? Rupert having opinions on Atossa not letting Amir have a childhood and training him his entire life for a fight? Give me the fights, the culture clashes, everything about the boys and their in-laws!

Atossa/Lavinia: You cannot convince me that these two do not have history before the forest. The way they will work together to save their sons, and the way that they act towards each other, there is so much tension just begging to be resolved with either hate sex or a heart-to-heart. I would also love an AU where the queens are the ones sent into magical peril, and they have to solve mysteries, or save a kingdom, or go on a quest! Give me butterfly effects or urban fantasy AUs, I’d love it all!
