Thank you for writing for me this year! I’m excited to see what you have in store, and I’ll be squealing when reveals come, but if you’re in need of any ideas, prompts, or manifestos, I figured I should write something up just in case you don’t have your ideas set up already! So without further ado, let’s get on with the letter!

Azadi/Suwo
I love enemies to lovers. I love misunderstandings, and learning that the person you thought was an asshole is actually kinda okay sometimes, and oh whoops I might actually love you plotlines. I want to see them fight, first each other then alongside each other later down the line. I am open to Canon-Divergent AUs, different meetings, backstories, and what-ifs for the future! (If it matters to you, I only got up to the Cave as of writing this letter but I am not averse to spoilers!)

Azadi/Dust Warrior/Suwo
The TV Tropes page about Trios? Where two of the people are always fighting and the third is their mediator? Yeah, that’s this ship to me. I need the Dust Warrior done with Azadi and Suwo and those two being sooo lucky that the Dust Warrior loves them, because otherwise they might not have lasted a day with each other. If you want to give the Dust Warrior a name in this fic, that’s fine! Just let me know who they are in an author’s note and I’m totally in!

Sonic the Hedgehog
Rouge the Bat/Wave the Swallow
Man, Sonic Riders on the Gamecube was my CHILDHOOD, my brother and I spent so many hours on that thing we unlocked AIAI as one of the characters. I want to see these two savvy, sassy girls meet, and I didn’t even know that was a thing that could happen until I saw it in the tagset but the moment I saw it I was all, “Yes, PLEASE!” Give me heists with Wave making Rouge’s tech, give me Rogue stealing diamonds for Wave to win her over, give me lovesick sighs or shock at SHE’S the one I fall for? or cozy days in while rain taps on the window and domesticity. I would love to see this ship explored.

Sonic the Hedgehog/Miles “Tails” Prower
There’s not a thought in my head when I think of these two except happy nostalgia. I loved Tails ever since I saw him in Sonic the Hedgehog 2, and I think him and Sonic could be a power couple if they realized that they liked each other. You can age them up if that makes you more comfortable, but I personally am also okay with underage and all the sticky, messy, unhealthy feelings that might bring on between them. Anything these two get up to in game or off-screen is fine by me, I don’t have any specific prompts for these two.

Knuckles the Echidna/Tikal the Echidna
Honestly I see this as an excuse for time travel shenanigans! In Sonic Adventure DX, I saw her and had so many questions about what her life was like, who she was, and I think her and Knuckles would make an interesting pair. Knuckles who is sworn to protect the Master Emerald, but who falls for a girl from another time, who would he choose between, if he had to make the choice? What would he do to make sure he had both his oath upheld and be with Tikal at the same time?

Shadow the Hedgehog/Sonic the Hedgehog
Ah, another enemies to lovers ship! I love these, in case it wasn’t blatantly obvious by now. Shadow is horribly traumatized, and I’d love to see him open up (and cry a bit) to Sonic, after suitable push from either Sonic himself or outside whumpy forces. Feel free to break Shadow and have Sonic help pick up the pieces, or else traumatize Sonic and have Shadow be totally clueless as to how to help but understanding the pain because he’s been through similar in the past. No specific prompts for these two, just whump and enemies to lovers.

Pokemon MVGS
Giovanni/Silver
It’s not a shnuffeluv sign-up without an incest ship these days, I swear, but these two intrigue me so much. It was brought to my attention that in Gold and Silver it was said that Giovanni went into hiding three years before the events of the game. Did he take Silver into hiding with him? Or did he leave a child younger than most trainers to fend for himself? Did he entrust Silver’s wellbeing to the Executives? How poorly did that go? Does Giovanni have a chokehold on Silver and does Silver try to escape? Or is Silver the one to initiate, not knowing or not caring about societal expectations and just wanting to show his father exactly how fucked up Giovanni made him? Possibilities!

Lance & Silver
On a different note, Lance and Silver also intrigue me in a different way. Battling alongside Silver against Lance and Clair, I’m deeply curious as to whether or not Silver would see Lance as someone to learn battling techniques from, or simply another rival to becoming the best. We see Silver’s Crobat before battling the Elite Four, perhaps being told that he should care for his Pokemon changed Silver in some way? And what would Silver do training under the League Champion as opposed to, say, Giovanni? What would change?

Pregnant Manic Pixie Dream Girl Who Lost Her Spark/Manic Pixie Dream Boy
This one came to me in a dream, lol. What would it take for a Manic Pixie Dream Girl to lose her sparkle? Who knocked her up? How does the Manic Pixie Dream Boy help her see the world as magical again? How do they navigate the world together with a third on the way? What happens when the baby is born? Open to the MPDG staying pregnant the entire time or to having the child being born during the story!

Stranger Things
Robin Buckley/Steve Harrington
I love these two so much, and I don’t shut up about them. Their chemistry is electric to me, and just because Robin likes girls doesn’t mean she can’t like boys, too. Or maybe Steve is a girl! Trans that boy’s gender! Let them be messy and undefined as they battle for their lives, or let them get older and mature, see that labels don’t always matter, so long as they love each other! I’m open to multiple interpretations of this ship, cis, trans, het, gay, bi, put these two in Situations and I’m sure to like it! Open to AUs one this one, so long as it’s not a Mundane, Teenagers-in-modern-day with no Upside Down. In space? Go for it! Horrifying creatures in 2020? Sure! If you want to explore them in Modern Day in a mundane setting, at least make them adults. I’m not in this for a modern high school AU. Otherwise, I’m open to just about anything that doesn’t hit a DNW.

Hell Followed With Us - Andrew Joseph White
WB: Development of the Flood
There’s this incredibly terrifying bioweapon that turns human beings into sludge, and you’re telling me we don’t go into how this was developed, how many people were lost in the making of it, how they figured out stunting the spread so that people weren’t killed in the process of making it before it’s release?! I want background! Reports of people dying of mysterious diseases before Judgement Day! The first Grace! I’m so intrigued and I want to know more about this horrifying piece of human invention!

Solo: Original Failed Armageddon Prototype
Along the lines of the development of the Flood, what happened to all the people who were turned into the Prototypes who failed? Seraph was the first success in a long line of failures, and it’s said that most of the others went mad, or exploded, but their descent into madness and their willingness (or lack thereof) to become a living bioweapon intrigues me. I want to know more!

Benji Woodside & Original Failed Armageddon Prototype
This one is also particularly interesting to me, because Benji would become what these Prototypes were meant to be. How does he reconcile the fact that he’s turning into a monster like those before, and he was the unfortunate bastard that lived while they suffered through their transformations for naught? Does he worry that Seraph will ultimately kill him before realizing that he’s going to survive it? In the book they say you can’t get infected twice, but how did the process of infecting him go, and how did he feel about the others before him in this path? I want background!

Crossover Fandom

• Benji Woodside (HFWU - AJW) & Eddie Brock & Venom Symbiote (Venom Movies)

Something about being turned into a weapon against your will and becoming the stuff of nightmares has to be absolutely horrifying to Benji. I feel like he would be able to heavily relate to Eddie, and Venom, while not super literate on human emotions, might be able to assist in Benji realizing that he’s not a freak of nature for just existing. The fact that they were both used for the intent of human destruction and grew beyond that…? THAT is what makes me obsessed with these three. Nature VS nurture and choosing kindness.
